RadClerk Didactics Prove Consistent Impact Across Didactic and Clinical Years

Do RadClerk Didactic Experiences work? Complete data from 106 NP students validates early findings with stunning consistency: 50-75% improvement in chest radiography skills across student populations.

RadClerk Team

A month after sharing our exciting preliminary results from clinical-year NP students, we promised the full analysis was coming. Today, we're delivering the complete performance results from over 100 NP students at UTMB that validate our initial findings on an even larger scale.

Our comprehensive analysis included 106 NP students who completed RadClerk Didactics in Chest Radiography, spanning both didactic and clinical years. The interactive visualization below tells the complete story – we encourage you to click on the buttons and explore each cohort to see the consistency of our educational outcomes.

RadClerk Didactics: Assessment Score Analysis

RadClerk Didactics increase radiology skills, including students in both didactic and clinical years (N=106)

The results demonstrate remarkable consistency across all student populations. Whether examining the complete cohort, clinical-year students, or didactic-year students separately, the pattern remains the same: significant, measurable improvement in radiology assessment scores.

The combined cohort data shows a 50% improvement in median assessment scores, rising from 4.0 to 6.0 on our 10-point imaging-based assessment. Clinical-year students achieved solid gains with the same 50% improvement. Didactic-year students demonstrated even more dramatic learning, achieving a 75% improvement with scores jumping from 4.0 to 7.0.

The question every educator asks next is obvious: what could have driven the superior performance in didactic-year students? The answer might lie in a simple but powerful implementation decision.

But that's a story for next month. In our next update, we're diving deep into the implementation factor that influenced these remarkable differences in learning outcomes between the didactic and clinical groups – findings that will help you optimize your RadClerk deployment for maximum educational impact. Our data reveals surprising insights about timing and pedagogical decisions that drive exceptional results.
